A tailored door solution…
Work is just finishing at a stunning development by Consero Homes, Linden Road, St Georges Hill, Surrey is a private residence with views across the prestigious estate. Our client required a specific colour on solid flush, 2.4metre interior doors. The colour and effect were crucial to ensure the overall design of the house flowed. SWD tailored a solution whereby we supplied the custom made oversize doors and then our expert craftsmen stained them on site, along with the wooden floor and panels for the lift.
The double front doors are truly unique. From a solid core base, 8 layers of black polyester lacquer was applied by our specialist finishers, who interestingly have also applied the same finish to Elton John’s red piano and most of the UK's Roulette wheels.
